"The optometrist, Dr. Cooper, could not have been better. She was amiable, accurate and efficient, but I never felt even remotely rushed. She was more comprehensive than any optometrist I have ever seen, explaining the bits and pieces of what she was doing in a way that was watered down enough for me to understand -- including showing me some medical imagery of my eye, which my overactive curiosity particularly appreciated."​​​​​​​

I was overdue for my annual eye exam and began searching locally for a small business with good patient feedback. Fortunately, I found Route 33 Eye Care & Optical. After reading reviews, I called to inquire about my underwhelming vision insurance, which they accepted. They promptly scheduled an appointment for me a few days out, and were very accommodating and friendly. I received an appointment reminder, which I now realize is essential in recent years. I'm unsure how I managed appointments before this became common practice, but it's very helpful.

Every person I encountered was amazing, starting with scheduling, the front desk staff, the pre-eye exam, Dr. Cooper, the optician, and again, the ladies at the front desk. Dr. Cooper took her time to explain everything to me (I tend to ask a lot of questions), addressed my concerns, and her passion for her work was evident. It seems everyone there loves what they do! The staff even assisted me in selecting frames, for which I'm very grateful. I can't recall a time when I picked up glasses and wasn't disappointed.

Without a doubt, I will continue to support Route 33 Eye Care and encourage everyone to go there too. I can't recommend them enough!​​​​​​​

Phenomenal doctor and staff! It's so nice to have a local business that absolutely outshines the large chain options in the area. The staff are so welcoming and knowledgeable and Dr. Cooper is incredibly warm and personable. It's very evident that their focus is on doing the absolute best to meet and exceed your needs. The technology they use to examine the eye is incredible and blends seamlessly into the overall exam. The selection of glasses brands and contact lens options is top notch. I absolutely recommend Route 33 Eye Care and thank them all for their professionalism, and warm kindness!​​​​​​​

Top notch!!
1) No wait for an appt.. the optometrist was able to see me the next day
2) no wait at the appt. Started on the tests straight away.
3) high-tech equipment! all the bells and whistles. I saw images of both eyes on a big screen and the awesome doctor took time to explain everything. That was really cool!
4) most importantly, the doc and entire staff were great; super friendly!
5) awesome eye wear selection and reasonable prices for boutique hand selected glasses.
6) glasses arrived in less than a week! And Brooke offered to adjust them so they'd fit my head/ears better. Adjustments are always free. 7) glasses and prescription are great!

My husband and I had been going to a practice across the bridge, but wanted a private practice closer to home. We were so pleased to find Route 33 Eye Care and Optical Boutique. We had our appointments a few weeks ago, and could not be more pleased with this practice. This was the most comprehensive and thorough exam we have ever had; Dr. Cooper is our new primary care physician for our eyes! From the time we called and made the appointments, to the time we picked up our glasses, every step of the way was pleasant and effortless. The entire staff is exceptional, and we have already recommended this practice to family and friends. There is no pressure to purchase glasses. The selection is fantastic, and our insurance was accepted. That was a bonus on top of the patient care! Do not hesitate to make an appointment at Route 33 Eye Care and Boutique.
